“I’m so very encouraged by the sustained effort by an ever-increasing cadre of white allies who have chosen to clearly understand the impact of race on our country. They witnessed the unbelievably unjust treatment of George Floyd and simply could not ignore the horror of that act as an unmistakable indication of the corrosive effect of racism and discrimination. Most importantly, they are taking action to help achieve equity for all in every arena of society. They truly understand that it doesn’t work for any of us unless it works for all of us.”
