“Having learned that systemic racism creates unseen barriers to opportunity for far too many people, I am thrilled to forward the vision of RacEquity360. In-depth racial literacy programs increase awareness and inspire collective action that generates a measurable and lasting change —one person, one group, and one institution at a time.”

Meet Deborah:

Deborah became Racial Equity Director in January 2022 to put a dent in racism. Previously, she founded Olive Solutions, LLC (2014). Entrepreneurs and S/M business owners hired her to improve individual and team performance. Her career began with Abbott Laboratories where she became a “Top 10” sales executive, and team manager. She answered a call to ministry, was ordained, and served four ministries as spiritual leader and CEO (1991 – 2011). Using vision-centric principles, she trained church boards, developed volunteer teams, advanced building projects, and implemented community outreach. In 2002, she initiated an unprecedented collaboration between the Pierce County Government and the Associated Ministries of Tacoma that engaged 7,000 people in seven months. Deborah is a speaker and author. She lives with her American Eskimo dog, Nevey, and enjoys hiking, writing, travel, and photography.
