Meet Robyn:

Robyn Thomas, Board Member–After her early career years at General Electric designing jet engine afterburners, since 1993 Robyn has been a Combustion Engineer for Solar Turbines, Inc., a top-ten world manufacturer of industrial gas turbines. She designs and implements fuel systems and is currently innovating fuel injector designs using 3-D printing. Robyn enjoys mentoring young engineers and co-founded “Bring Your Child to Solar Day”. She has served or currently volunteers on the Boards of the Jackie Robinson “Y”, The Unity Center and local chapters of the Caterpillar African-American Network fostering work-place inclusion, Jack and Jill of America, Inc. nurturing future African American leaders, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Robyn loves hiking, theater, travel and is Mom to her adult son Mitchell.
